Proposed Geographic Service Area

The lines of the Avondale geographic area are clear, but the lines between Logan Square and Avondale businesses are a bit more ambiguous. Regardless of our boundary area, our goal is to be a collaborative and supportive Chamber partner to nearby neighborhoods.

Commercial Zones

Within the neighborhood, the organization recognizes several key and distinct commercial and employment zones, including: • Milwaukee Avenue • Belmont Avenue • Diversey Avenue (boundary shared with Logan Square) • Pulaski Road • Elston Avenue • Kimball Avenue • California Avenue • The industrial and employment areas west of the Kennedy Expressway • Smaller clusters and side-street businesses

Feedback Requested

The Diversey Avenue boundary is shared with the Logan Square neighborhood. The Logan Square Chamber of Commerce office is technically located in Avondale. A big decision point will be to include all or part of Diversey in our service area, or exclude it - starting our boundary just north of Diversey.
