SUMMARY:AIRMW Arts Initiatives Presents: Syzygia
DESCRIPTION:Syzygia is a Chicago-based quartet that performs freely improv
ised music\, bridging spontaneity with ideas and aesthetics from contempo
rary classical music. The group treats improvisation as extemporaneous co
mposition\, informed by the concepts\, textures\, and structures of 20th-
and 21st-century classical music. Each member contributes a distinctive
voice to the ensemble\, shaped by their extensive histories in classical\
 , jazz\, and new/creative music.\n\nhttps://avondalesba.org/events/airmw-
